About the Company:

Steel Hub is engaged in the trading and distribution of iron, steel, false ceiling products, and steel furniture. The company supplies to fabricators, contractors, dealers, and project sites across multiple districts in North Bengal.

Role Objective:

The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales in the assigned districts by identifying new customers, building relationships, and ensuring product movement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Coverage & Lead Generation
2. • Visit dealers, fabricators, and project contractors in the assigned territory
   • Identify new leads and onboard counters/customers
   • Map key markets, demand hubs, and active sites
2. Sales Execution
3. • Achieve monthly targets for various product categories
   • Work to ensure both order booking and movement from local counters
3. Customer Relationship
4. • Maintain regular communication with dealers and site customers
   • Build trust and ensure repeat orders through good service and coordination
4. Product Awareness
5. • Explain the product range clearly including iron & steel items, ceiling frames, and steel furniture
   • Share available sizes, pricing benefits, and delivery timelines with accuracy
5. Daily Reporting
6. • Submit brief daily updates to the manager on visits, orders, and follow-ups
   • Share market feedback and customer requirements regularly
6. Logistics Coordination & Follow-ups
7. • Coordinate with internal office team for order dispatch
   • Follow up with customers on delivery and payment status

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 1–3 years in field sales (steel or building material sector preferred)
• Education: 12th pass OR Graduate
• Other Requirements:
• • Good knowledge of Malda and Dinajpur regions
  • Should be able to communicate well and build rapport
  • Two-wheeler preferred
  • Comfortable using mobile for calls and basic updates

Salary & Benefits:

• Fixed Salary: ₹13,000 – ₹15000 per month (based on experience)
