**About the Role** Bike Wale Bhaiya, a bike and scooter rental service in the North East, is seeking a motivated and skilled Bike Mechanic to join our team in Siliguri. As a Bike Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all rental vehicles are in top condition, ready to take our customers on exciting adventures. This is a full-time, on-site position, perfect for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate with a passion for bikes and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repairs of the rental fleet, ensuring high standards of quality and safety for our customers. A strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential for success in this role. **Responsibilities** - Inspecting bikes and scooters for pre-rental maintenance needs - Performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and tire inflation - Identifying and repairing mechanical issues, including brakes, gears, and other components - Ensuring all bikes and scooters meet safety standards before being rented out - Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance performed - Keeping the repair and maintenance areas clean and organized - Assisting in the assembly and disassembly of bikes (assembly line worker) - Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team to meet rental demands - Communicating any issues or concerns related to the bikes to the supervisor **Skills & Experience** - Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of bicycle and scooter repair - Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues - Experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing bikes - Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks - Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly - Excellent communication skills in Hindi and Bengali **Qualifications** - 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) - Experience level: Fresher (< 1 year) - Age: 19 to 25 years - Male candidate only **Compensation & Benefits** The compensation for this role is between 8k - 12k per month.
