The Packing Head manages and oversees all packaging and dispatch operations to ensure products are packed accurately, safely, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the packing team to achieve daily packing and dispatch targets.
- Ensure all products are packed as per company standards, specifications, and safety guidelines.
- Monitor packaging quality, reduce damages, and maintain consistency across batches.
- Plan and allocate manpower, shift schedules, and daily task assignments.
- Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics teams for smooth order flow.
- Maintain stock of packaging materials and raise purchase requirements when needed.
- Track order status, prepare dispatch lists, and ensure timely shipment of goods.
- Inspect packed goods regularly to ensure accuracy in quantity, labeling, and documentation.
- Implement process improvements to increase speed and reduce packing errors.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and workflow efficiency in the packing area.
- Train new staff on packing procedures, quality control, and safety practices.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on packing performance, material usage, and dispatch numbers.
