**About the Role** Saharan Engineering Works, the most modernized workshop in North-Eastern India, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Workshop Helper to join our team in Siliguri. This role provides an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in a fast-paced engineering environment. The Workshop Helper will assist skilled workers with daily tasks, supporting the smooth operation of the workshop and learning fundamental fabrication and assembly techniques. A successful candidate will be a quick learner, reliable, and eager to contribute to the team. **Responsibilities** - Assist skilled workers with daily tasks in the engineering workshop. - Handle tools and materials safely and efficiently. - Move materials and equipment within the workshop. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Support basic fabrication or assembly tasks as directed. - Follow all safety protocols and procedures. - Other duties as assigned by supervisors. **Skills & Experience** - Ability to handle tools and materials safely. - Ability to understand and follow basic instructions. - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. - Basic understanding of shop safety practices. - Proficiency in Hindi, Bengali, or Nepali (language preference for effective communication within the workshop). **Qualifications** - 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) certificate. - Freshers (< 1 year of experience) are encouraged to apply. - Age between 19 and 25 years. - Male candidate only. **Compensation & Benefits** Competitive salary below ₹10,000 per month will be offered.
